Vegal Nerve Stimulation *including stroke recovery
We collaborate with Dr. Scott Rich (lab website) at UConn Storrs to research the mechanisms of VNS in stroke recovery. Patients undergo advanced imaging and EEG recordings at various time points.
Deep Brain Stimulation
There are several ongoing projects. On DBS for depression, collaborate with Dr. Albert Fenoy (lab website) at Northwell Health. Dr. Conner has helped collect and analyze electrophysiology for those patients during surgeries targeting the medial forebrain bundle. Dr. Fenoy is a worldwide leader in this procedure.

We also work with the labs of Drs. Sabato Santiniello (lab website) at UConn Storrs and Manuel Castro-Alamancos (lab website). Projects include mathematical modeling of evoked potentials recorded in motor cortex during DBS surgery and analysis of brain rhythms in response to novel stimulation paradigms.
Trauma Epidemiology
Our group has continued to work on big data projects exploring motor vehicle related traumas. Past and ongoing collaborations include Uber, the Texas Traffic Institute, and clinicians nationwide.
Spinal Cord Stimulation and Pain
We also work with the labs of Drs. Bin Feng (lab website) and Hugo Posada-Quintero (lab website), both at UConn Storrs.
